TWO CO-CREATION PATHS

Two ways to collaborate

Applicants should hold the relevant character rights and participate in product review and project investment. The initial application requires a portfolio and project goals; a complete unpaid custom design is not required.

Path A · Original IP co-development

The creator supplies original IP material and reviews character aesthetics and definitions. Both sides scope the physical product, digital appearance and initial features. Future Companion provides product planning, app adaptation and agreed sales coordination, with sample and production costs confirmed by quotation.

Path B · Mobile interaction for existing toys

The brand supplies authorized characters, current products and production support. Together we scope NFC entry, digital character adaptation and mobile interaction. Service fees and revenue terms are project-specific; existing-channel orders and new partnership orders are recorded separately.

ONE IP · ONE PRODUCT · ONE EXPERIENCE

Initial product scope

The initial phase focuses on one IP and one product, with a user journey from character recognition to mobile interaction. Features are agreed at project setup, and production is assessed after sample approval.

An NFC entry point

After app installation and initial binding, use phone NFC inside the app to enter the agreed character interaction. Review supported devices, tag placement and the complete flow.

Character-specific conversation

Interact on a phone with an agreed tone and character definition. Both sides review the character sheet, example dialogue and content boundaries.

A signature activity

Choose an adapted activity from options such as care, photos or play. Confirm it through a working demonstration and service terms. Standalone apps, automated onboarding and extensive custom features require a separate assessment.

CLEAR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Rights, responsibilities and revenue terms

The agreement defines ownership of original IP and new assets, licensing and attribution, and allocates development, sampling, production, promotion and ongoing service costs. Revenue terms are negotiated according to each party’s contribution, responsibilities and risk.

Character and licensing

Keep the agreed character name, appearance and brand identity. Specify categories, regions, term, promotion and approval. Any model-training permission is discussed separately.

Sales and settlement

Agree on channel activities, order attribution, the payment and after-sales parties, refunds and inventory responsibilities before selling. Settlement uses actual records.

Service and exit

Specify AI and cloud service duration, usage limits, cost responsibilities, and arrangements for stock, users and settlement when a project ends.

PARTNERSHIP FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply without an existing product?

Yes. Original IP co-development is intended for creators and studios with a defined character that has not yet become a complete product.

Is development free, or is there a fixed revenue share?

There is no universal free-development or revenue-share promise. Development, samples, production, ongoing service costs and revenue terms are agreed in the project quotation and agreement.

Can we have a standalone app?

You can raise it as a separately assessed requirement. A standalone app is not included in the default initial deliverables.
